About Me

Hi, my name is Rebekah Rogers Coulter. My friends know me as an artist, a student, and a healer. I am a lifetime animal lover. I began my studies in natural healing in the late 90's, after realizing my inner passion for holistic wellness. The most fascinating and powerful healing I have ever seen has come from Classical and Traditional Chinese Medicine, so this is my main area of practice and continuing education today. I use the principles of Chinese Medicine to rebalance horses by using my hands and the gentle pressure of my fingertips in an informed way to change the flow of energy through the body. I work directly with the horse's meridian system as defined thousands of years ago by early practitioners of acu-PRESSURE, which actually predates acu-PUNCTURE.

While I often find myself assisting in cases of digestive trouble and other physical problems, my greatest joy is to help uncover and rebalance the underlying disharmonies that surface as training and behavioral problems. Therefore I am more than happy to work alongside veterinarians and horse trainers alike. I have an extra soft spot for helping formerly wild Mustangs who are overcoming trauma from roundups and time spent in holding facilities.

Why "Heavenly Chi"?
Chi is the energy or natural force that fills the universe. According to the Chinese, there are many kinds of chi.
Heavenly Chi includes the energy of all the planets, sunshine and moonlight, the stars and constellations, as well as the energy of God, the force of creation and universal love.
This is what it feels like to me when I do this work with horses, and I truly believe all healing comes from a higher power than ourselves.
Thus, Heavenly Chi Horse Care was named.
